Woodstock Student Amanda Nowak Presents Research at Assumption College's Undergraduate Symposium

Amanda Jean Nowak of Woodstock, CT, class of 2013, presented her project: "Exploratory Research of How Probation Officers Perceive Their Relationships with Probationers" at the Undergraduate Symposium at Assumption College on April 15-16. Amanda Jean investigated the perceptions of probationers by Probation Officers from Worcester District Court and concluded that Probation Officers identify the development of positive relationships with their probationers as highly important and propose that it can lead to successful probation. The Undergraduate Symposium is a celebration of student research and creative work in the arts, humanities, and sciences.
