Maria Chrisom, of Dover, Earns Coveted Spot on the Assumption College Women's Volleyball Team

The Assumption College Department of Athletics has announced that Maria Chrisom, of Dover, has earned a coveted spot on the 2016-17 Assumption College Women's Volleyball team. Chrisom, Class of 2018, is competing during the Greyhounds' fall season.

"The players on this current roster all have an inspirational passion for the game of volleyball which translates onto the court," said Elyse Rowland, head coach of the Women's Volleyball team. "We have a very young team with four freshmen and no seniors, so these girls are having to fill some extremely big and demanding postions, but they are doing a fantastic job."

The Greyhounds were ranked 13th in the Northeast-10 Conference preseason poll.
