Kiera O'Donnell, of Chesire , Earns Coveted Spot on the Assumption College Women's Basketball Team

The Assumption College Department of Athletics has announced that Kiera O'Donnell, of Chesire , has earned a coveted spot on the 2016-17 Assumption College Women's Basketball team.O'Donnell, Class of 2018, is competing during the Greyhounds' winter season.

"After a rocky start to our season, our team was able to put together a great run after Thanksgiving winning 12 of 13 games," said Kerry Phayre, who is in her 21st season as head coach.. "As we approach the final month of our regular season, we hope to continue our success and position ourselves to make a playoff run."

The team is led by senior captains Kelly Carey and Jaclyn Storey. The Greyhounds are currently 13-4 and sit in second place in the Northeast-10 Conference.
