Katelyn Coyle Elected to Student Leadership Position at Assumption College

2015 Nov 30

Katelyn Coyle is serving as a student-leader in the College's Student Government Association (SGA) for the 2015-16 academic year.

SGA is a student-run organization that represents the undergraduate student body and works closely with College administration to share students' concerns and to support student clubs and organizations. Those students elected to a leadership position in SGA contribute to the vibrant student life climate of the campus community and are encouraged to demonstrate excellence, honor and Greyhound pride.

"As students progress through their four years of undergraduate education, many discover innate leadership skills and utilize them to support lively and positive student-life experiences on campus." said Dr. Catherine WoodBrooks, vice president for student affairs at Assumption. "SGA representatives serve as the voice of the students at Assumption College, an important role as that helps contribute to the College's exceptional academic reputation and student engagement in co-curricular programs. Through SGA, Assumption College is able to respond to and best serve the needs of its students."
