Joseph Baron Earns Spot on Assumption College Track and Field Team

The Assumption College Department of Athletics has announced that Joseph Baron, of Cobleskill, NY, has earned a coveted spot on the 2015-16 Assumption College Track and Field team. Baron, Class of 2019, has been competing during the Greyhounds' winter/spring season.

"I'm really happy with how this program has progressed since arriving here two and a half years ago to restructure the cross country and track program," said Stacie Wentz, head women's and men's track and field coach. "This year's team is helping us create a firm foundation for future success. We've had multiple national qualifiers in the last two years and the team is working really hard to put on our program on the map not only in the Northeast region but nationally as well."
