Brian Pickett Earns Spot on Assumption College Men's Ice Hockey Team

The Assumption College Department of Athletics has announced that Brian Pickett has been earned a coveted spot on the 2015-16 Assumption College men's ice hockey team. Pickett, Class of 2018, is competing during the Greyhounds' winter season which began on October 31 at Suffolk University.

"The Assumption College hockey team has earned some memorable victories this season, including triumphs over St. Michael's, Fitchburg State, Western New England and most notably, Endicott," said Lance Brady, head coach for the men's ice hockey team. "As an NCAA Division II college, Assumption instills in us that 'student' comes first in 'student-athlete.' Members of our team have won numerous academic awards, including the NE-10 Male Scholar Athlete of the Year. We look forward to continuing our goal of academic excellence."
